Sweet Pickle -- About Us

After growing up together and both moving back to Memphis after college, we found ourselves pregnant at the same time.  As we prepared for our new arrivals, we found that we shared a creative itch…we both wanted to have a monogramming machine at our disposal to make things for our children.  We began brainstorming and shopping around, and on blind faith, we began pooling our funds to buy a monogramming machine.  One day, shortly before our babies were born, we looked at our purchases that we had quickly accumulated…the machine, colorful threads, new bibs, burp cloths, blankets, gowns and more, and asked each other, “What kind of pickle have we gotten ourselves into?”  It wasn’t long until, upon holding our new precious baby boys in our arms, we knew…A sweet pickle it was indeed!  And with the generous support of our friends and families, our secret little dream of starting a monogramming business has truly become a labor of love.
